About Me

When I was 14-years old I felt the call of the Lord to study the Scriptures and draw close to Him. This journey has taken me to a variety of places-- currently I am a youth and young adult minister in the Archdiocese of Detroit!

All posts to this blog in 2014 and before are selected posts from my previous blog, "The Church of Turtles" that I wrote as a graduate student at the Catholic Theological Union. Post after 2014 are originals to this blog-- which is more a life-project than anything formal and well-thought-out.
